During Dutch Design Week 2009, the city of Eindhoven will be, for nine full days, completely dedicated to design. The largest design event in The Netherlands offers a platform to established design agencies, well-known designers, talented upcoming designers and recently graduated designers. Greenpeace first released its 'Guide to Greener Electronics' in August 2006. The guide ranks the 17 top manufacturers of personal computers, mobile phones, TV's and games consoles according to their policies on toxic chemicals, recycling and climate change.
