Greenpeace first released its 'Guide to Greener Electronics' in August 2006. The guide ranks the 17 top manufacturers of personal computers, mobile phones, TV's and games consoles according to their policies on toxic chemicals, recycling and climate change. This is the version 11 , March 2009 . Nokia –  Keeps top spot with new CO2 emissions reduction targets.

This project, which involves an investment of nine million euros, is in the development phase which should produce sufficient technical information to build a commercial wave power plant.
The companies involved are: The British company Pelamis Wave Power, the Australian Holding Babcock & Brown and Energias de Portugal (EDP). Unfortunately, this potential project is on hold due to financial problems. We expect good news that reactivates its development.  Download Reportage
